Good Friday Tenebrae Service

On Good Friday, March 29, the Chancel Choir and Scott Ayers, our organist, will present a service highlighting the seven last words of Christ, featuring beautiful, moving choral meditations to accompany each reading. After the reading of Luke 22:34, “Father, forgive them: for they know not what they do,” the choir sings, “O come and mourn with me awhile; O come ye to the Saviour’s side; O come, together let us mourn. Jesus, our Lord, is crucified.” This combination of music and readings will guide us through Good Friday and help us to more fully experience Easter.
