To explore gender differences in grieving patterns;
To acknowledge traditional holiday patterns, and to find meaningful ways to continue meaningful traditions, and to explore new ones as well;
Explore one’s spirituality and one’s rituals during the grieving process;
There will be reading and homework exercises in between sessions;
Grievers will explore breathing, silence, and other forms of self-care that are essential for the grieving process.
At the conclusion of the group and as desired, members will have an opportunity to share photographs, keepsakes and other valuables that are now treasured by the griever.
