6-Wk Small Groups

Gospel of John | Facilitated by Pastor Ken

Whether you are currently participating in a Sunday School class or other small group or not, you are invited to join Pastor Ken on Sunday Mornings during the 9:00 am hour for a 6-week study of the Gospel of John. We will consider the big themes of John’s Gospel, where it fits alongside the other New Testament writings as well as those from the same time period that were not included in the New Testament. Through all of that we will be considering the impact that the Way of Jesus as presented by John might have on our lives today.

Every person finds him/herself in a wide variety of developmental stages throughout the course of our lives. Starting with birth, we transition through different stages or seasons; many of which are RITES OF PASSAGE.

There are seasons that we welcome – affecting us positively, and others not so. Some seasons or rites of passage are anticipated with age, propelling us into seasons of sheer celebration. Other seasons catch us off guard, affecting us in ways that leave us feeling empty and alone. While it is common to feel alone – even while living with and among others, spiritual rituals of being in community and sharing our transition stories provides enrichment, nourishment, and fulfillment.

Regardless of the personal season you find yourself in, know you are not alone as you begin your transition process. Whether you are at the beginning, the middle or even the end of a transition, this class may be a good fit for you.

Transitions Cafe Sunday School class will offer a small-group community whereby participants can support one another through group-sharing, prayer and biblical study.
