Promotion Sunday & Backpack Blessing

As we approach a new school year, it’s time for children and students to move up a grade level! We’ll be recognizing those who will be moving up to their new Sunday School classes during the 9:00 am Sunday School hour on Promotion Sunday.

A reminder for both teachers and students – bring your back packs or lunch boxes to the 10:00 am Worship Service, where we will share a blessing at Northway’s annual Blessing of the Backpacks.

Later, on this same date, we’ll be meeting at 6:30 pm at the Frog Pond Water Park in Farmers Branch, where we’ll soak up the end of summer with pizza and Popsicles at an all-church Pool Party.
