Rev. Ruby

Ruby Hines Henry is no stranger to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She has served in many leadership capacities: local, area, regional and National. Prior to coming to Northway Ruby served as Christian Education Director & Coordinator, 1995-2010 and first female president 2010-2013 for The Texas Christian Missionary Fellowship (Disciples of Disciples). Ruby  now serves as Congregational Care Ministry with focus on Pastoral Support for the Northway Disciples Women Ministries.

Ruby has an associate degree in Arts and Science from El Centro College, Dallas, and the necessary requirement for a BS in Psychology from Southern Methodist University.  She has completed her four-year education program for Commissioned Ministers in the North Texas and Northeast Area of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest Region.
Ruby begins her seminary training at Brite Divinity School Fort Worth, Texas and is a candidate for ordination with the Christian Church in the Southwest Region.

Ruby is married to Reverend Derry C. Henry and they have five adult children, and five grandchildren.
